Our Commitment
Accessibility Statement
The Ro-Na is a theater open to everyone, and its website should be too.
The standard we target
ronatheater.com is built to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA across the entire site — designed in from the start, not retrofitted.
What that means in practice
- Text and interactive elements meet AA color-contrast minimums, validated against our dark, gold-accented palette.
- Everything works with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator and a skip-to-content link on every page.
- Pages use meaningful headings, landmark regions, and alt text so screen readers get the full story, with decorative graphics hidden from assistive technology.
- Forms have programmatic labels, clear required-field indication, and accessible error messages — and our spam protection never uses CAPTCHAs that lock people out.
No overlays
We do not use accessibility-overlay widgets. Accessibility on this site is achieved in the markup and the design itself — real remediation, not a bolt-on.
Found a barrier? Tell us
If any part of this site is hard to use with assistive technology — or anything else gets in your way — we want to know so we can fix it. Please reach us through the contact page and describe what happened and where.
Visiting the building
This statement covers the website. For the physical accessibility of the theater itself — parking, entrances, seating, and accommodations — see the accessibility section of the Visit page , or contact us before your visit and we'll make it work.
